Following on the Displaying of Prince Owain Glyndŵr's ceremony at Y Plas, Machynlleth on Saturday the 21 June, another successful 'Dydd y Coroni' banquet was held at Cefn Caer, the important medieval hall house that was used as residence by Prince Owain Glyndŵr during his travels into the Pennal area.
Most had made the effort to dress medieval for this banquet and the quests were treated to the best of Welsh cuisine with six courses of mouth watering Welsh produce dishes. Likewise, the entertainment was first class. Everyone had a wonderful time and Elfyn Rowlands, the owner of Cefn Caer, commented that this was the best banquet of all the ones he had held so far.
